Default Road trip to south eastern Utah on Saturday, drove the S6 on dirt roads for the first time.

Had some fun with the ESP turned off on a few corners. Speaking of detailing...

I did stay up late Sat. night washing and cleaning after our return. I could not let the poor thing sit in the garage all dirty overnight...

Default Nice car! Where can I get 19" LM replicas?

I've had 18" replicas from Alt Wheels before, but I want 19" now.

Default All of the roads were very smooth and flat, just dirt. I drove 35 and under

most of the time and it was tame. The roads are amazingly well maintained with graders and lightly traveled. In a few short sections it was so smooth and packed down I could drive 60+ with no worries of rocks flying up. If the roads were otherwise I would have driven our SUV.

Default I bought them a year ago from a seller on ebay, see link

Default wow... dirt roads phreaque me OUT... (like, totally).

I did the same thing in Western CO (Grand Junction) last weekend... en route to shooting a bike-comp, and cringed every time i had to go back and forth on the approach-road.

How the heck r u over there anyway? Still skiing? Snow holding up?

Default Yes still skiing as of last Friday, see the link for the full post and pics on SLC forum

I will likely ski tomorrow and Thursday. Last Thurs. was excellent for May 1st, face shots all morning in about 14-18", and Friday I found some fresh lines here and there.

Full post of the trip with photos click here

Default So, what Im seeing is those are not true BBS, but LM reps that the BBS cap hap to fit?

Either way, they do look great, I for one who have replica wheels can appreciate the value of saving $$. I was happiest to know that the reps on Hartmann are Made in Italy, and are not poor Korean or Chinese knock-offs, no offenses to anyone, but as they say you pay what you get for. Anyways, sounds like fun to do a little Raudi Rally in Utah. Miss that part of the country, being from Las Vegas originally.
