Default rs4 wheels on audi collection website

I have a 2000 A6 2.7t and really want the rs4 (well really rs6 wheel) I have heard that the 17 inch will fit however the 18 inch will not. I saw that uder the allroad catagory that the same wheel is offered. it has a different #. Will this fit my car since it is for a 2.7t does the allroad have the annoying big calipers?

Default There are several different version of this wheel....

...the problem with the RS 6 wheel is that it has more offset (the distance the wheel sicks out from the car's body on the sides) in order to accomodate the RS 6, A6 4.2 and the allroad's wider fender extensions, or "flairs" as commonly refered to. My sig below outlines the specifications of an authentic RS 6 wheel (as I purchased them off of a RS 6 automobile which upgraded to 20's at time of delivery, lucky me.)

Achtuning carries a replica in 18" which has less of an offset. Also, the new S-Line series on A4's & A6's in Europe will have a similar 18" wheel, but the verdict is still pending regarding the offset, wheel width and if the spoke pattern will curve inward (concave) as they do on the RS 6 & RS4 auto's in Europe.

Ive also owned a set of OEM Audi RS 4 wheels in 17" as seen on the Audi Collection web site, purchased at my dealership in March of 2002 and they had less offset ET43 and were 17 x 7.5.

Plenty of information regaring this wheel if you do a search.

will rs6 wheels fit my car or is the bolt pattern different. so am I right in assuming if the number is higher ET43 for example that the wheel sticks out more?

ET 43 would move the wheel in as these are positive offset numbers. Smaller number moves wheel out.
