...and was it a direct bolt on replacement? Any welding?

Default Almost a direct bolt-in. Came from GRD in Naperville, IL....

Irshad at GRD took this off the first RS6 he converted to a Milltek and has had it on the wall of his shop for many months waiting for me to come in and get the exhaust installed.

Only welding needed was to weld the tips on. If I had instead chosen to cut my valance, it could have been bolt in. Just had to fabricate a junction to adapt the 53mm downpipes to the 65mm RS6 exhaust. Simply had to make a sleeve and clamp it in. All hangars lined up perfectly, and tips line up with the holes in valance too. It's a great conversion.

here's a pic showing the difference in diameter:

Here's a pic of the two exhausts:

Default Is that what he told you?

I already had mine from Hoppen (who sells MTM stuff) but I bought all four RS 6 exhausts off of GRD last summer, there were none left to sell me.

He bent the truth a little but I'm sure you got a great deal.

Whats the difference between the non-Sport RS6 and the Sport RS6 exhaust?
