RS6 racing on the SPEED channel @ 1pm est.

Just watched the RS6 (spoilers inside).
Boy, that was fun! I've not watched the RS6s race before. They clearly dominate on a tight track where quattro puts lots of power down while the big RWD cars are tip-toeing around. The Cadillacs seem fast, and if this race had gone longer, it would have been a real race between Audi and Caddy -- just like in the dealerships!!! (Not).
So, who was it who said that Audi really has no reason to be marketing the A6 as a performance sedan? If you are going to put together a killer race program, you have to have a car in the showroom to back it up!
<b>Now I know how all those Monte Carlo drivers feel when they see Jeff Gordon win a NASCAR race! "That's my car out there!!!"</b>

He may need to switch to an Allroad. That's what makes this racing series so much...
... fun to watch. It doesn't have the robotic precision of Formula One, which looks like a computer simulation sometimes.

I wonder just how much the Caddy shares with their street cars?
Not sure how much sheet metal is shared, if any......wonder if it uses more Corvette C6 bits than Caddy bits.......
I love the hot and heavy action. Champion finally got a handle on tires. Those heavy RS6 really chew up tires quickly and that weight combined with awd could cause them to overheat. There was a mention that they'd switched something, and that they were having slightly less grip, but much more consistant grip over the entire race.
