1. Not everyone want to go through the hassle of importing parts bought off of e-bay.de
2. The original rs4 wheels had a very bad reputation for bending, even on pristine German roads
3. Running a small business is hard. I do not, however, condone eneven level of customer service I recieved from Achtuning.

CL just likes OEM wheels, and will always diss replicas when he gets the chance. ![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I would have no problem buying replicas, because so many people have them and for normal use they seem to work great.
I'd say that unless you can get a super deal on OEM wheels (as CL did), the replicas will probably be more cost-effective long-term.

Look guy. For you to jock someone for buying knockoff wheels is completely hypocritical. After all, you're the guy who buys USED wheels and then posts a million updates about how you "sent the money" or "they're arriving in a week". Then you don't even end up getting the stinking wheels! Like we give a horse's a$$!
With regards to ACH. Who would want to deal with a customer like you? You're cheap and you demand the world. Why in the world would a vendor want to send you a sample? Stick to Ebay, it's more your style.
BTW, you think you know everything about Audis but you can't even change your own stinkin' wheels. How pathetic is that?!
Also, I don't post a lot but I follow this forum for entertainment. You just mad made me get on the soapbox.

real from fake. One has a smooth sweep second hand, the other stutters. But now I don't remember which is good and which isn't, so there ya go!

a replica watch could easily have an automatic winding movement (at a total cost of anywhere from $15 for japanese or chinese or up to $250 for a basic Swiss ETA movement kit). What you can tell between sweep vs. tick is whether the watch uses a mechanical (ie. manual winding or automatic movement) or a quartz module. 98% of Rolex watches (including the smaller ladies models) use automatic and will have a sweep seconds hand. Also FWIW, if you pay $1000 for a fake Rollie, you are getting jacked on the price as near mint examples of used real SS Rolex Subs sell for $1800-2000.
As for the comparison to the wheels...I guess the wheels will roll, and the watch will tell time, but perhaps one will give you that extra bit of satisfaction (self-satisfaction?) knowing that you got the real deal.
Regards,
Chris
