Default Rust problems.........covered under any warranty?
I was washing my car the other day and when I sprayed down my rear quarter a piece of the paint peeled off revealing a 1" by 1/2" rust spot. Is anyone aware of any rustproof warranty by Audi, and if so, if it covers repairing and painting the rusted quarter?

Default I've never seen rust on a newer Audi ( SoCal ).
When paint chipped off too easily on front of some early '98s, they repainted at no charge.

surface rust not covered...must be of the "rust through" variety, odd as this seems

Default Sounds like it has a small accident repair - I have never seen paint flake...
off on any Audi, since I first drove a very rusty 80 in 1979!

Have you had your car since new?
