Default S6 Owners with light grey leather interior and kids....

Need your advice.

Looking to go with an '02 S6 or '04 Allroad here in the next 2-3 months (really want the S6). Many of the S6's that I see have the very light grey leather interior. Wanted to know how this interior has handled your kids ?

We have a 20 month old and are planning on having another. I don't want to have to worry about my daughter ruining the leather every time she is in the car (this would be our only car, so she is in it a lot).

We currently have a black '00 2.7t with tan leather, and have had no problems.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

I wouldn't think light grey would be any worse than tan.

I just bought an S6 with the charcoal interior. I would have preferred lighter, but 90% had charcoal or ebony. Wanna trade? (Not the kids)

Default If needed, you could purchase one of the covers designed to protect against pets. It would also...

help to minimize the damage that car seats can often cause to leather.

Default Ditto...gray and tan, both light color, key is to...

maintain them. Don't let the car build up lots of dirt between cleanings. Clean the leather as often as you can, and keep those pens and markers out of reach!

Default I have seen covers that go on the back of seat to protect from foot scuffs....

Also seat protection that goes under the child car seat. Check for them at BabiesRUs or check these out.<ul><li><a href="http://www.babyuniverse.com/cat.asp?store=baby&amp;catid=419&amp;secid=47&amp; lang=">Car Seat Protection</a></li></ul>

Default Have the platinum alcantara, easy to clean though some pilling of the material. Just watch out for

blue jeans, as they will color the bolster getting in and out of the car. Don't know your locale, but dark interiors get really hot in the sun.
