Default S6 tires

I'm looking at getting some new tires (255/40/17)for my S6 (45K so far on the original Contis). I'd appreciate any recommendations for all season, ultra high performance tires to look at. I've got Michelin Pilot Sport, Yokohamas, Conti ExtremeContacts, and Toyo on my list so far...

Default I've been delighted with ContiExtreme performance, treadwear. Vastly superior to SportContacts...

...in all but pure track/autocross situations.

Default Take a look at the F1 DSG3's...put them on my S4 a month ago, and I give em' 2 thumbs up....

...which means, I'd consider them a contender as a replacement tire for the S6 when that day comes. Aggressive tread design, too. : )

Love the Goodyears, but they are downright dangerous on snow. They are not all season.

Default I'm very satisfied with my Yokohama avs db2's. Excellent dry performance, good ride

haven't yet had them to the ski slopes but that will happen in the next few weeks.

Default Michelin Pilot Spot 2s have better wet traction than just the pilot sports...

the falken xenius 512 bang for buck is a great all season performance tire...the sidewall is a little softer than the others on your list which makes for a nice ride...so if price is an issue... than go with these.

Toyo T1-S' are fantastic tires.. the wet traction is awesome... my friend just got them for his STi and is impressed by the grip in the wet. But they are a little on the noisy side...
