A6 2.7T owner

I tried to turn on my car today but it would not start. The battery light was on. So I checked the battery and cleaned off the chargers to the battery and the car starts fine now. However, now when I turn on the radio it says SAFE, and the radio does not do anything. How do I get the radio out of SAFE mode?

use the preset buttons to enter the code. The number of the preset button corresponds to the digit in the radio code, "1" for the first digit, "2" for the second digit, etc.

For example, if your code is "4567" press the "1" preset button 4 times, the "2" present button 5 times, etc. until you see your 4 digit code.
