Satellite Radio Using RDS Function

Are there any satellite radio adapters that will allow the RDS functionality to also display satellite radio info? I know the display on my 2-DIN Symphony will display this kind of info., because of RDS for AM/FM radio. I have been researching how to get satellite radio to display the song/artist info through the Symphony head unit, and I haven't found anything easy, or without upgrading to a Symphony II and doing some rewiring.

I looked for a non-Audi unit that worked with Symphony II and RDS and found nothing. I suspect there isn't much hope for Symphony I.
If you do upgrade to Symphony II, there is a $100 XM unit available at the dealer that works if your car doesn't have NAV. (I was originally quoted $500).
Also, check out the store below. If he doesn't have what you need, it may not exist.

http://stores.vagnav.com</a

I have XM sat on the A8. Display and tuning are painfully slow. It only shows the RDS type info for the station you are tuned to, not the other stations. Tuning speed is much slower than FM and than either my Symphony I or D Navi in the 4.2.
I have found XM not to be my cup of tea--it's on only because prior owner of my CPO I guess paid for a long subscription. Too much advertising (and especially annoying the self promoting XM semi-constant drivel), weird programming mix on the rock channels that aren't for me and lead me to channel surf like always. Sound quality much closer to FM than CD, and that's on an A8 Bose with meaningfully more power and tuning than a C5 A6, even with the higher wattage 4.2 subwoofer set up.
