I wouldnt worry about recalibrating as your ECU and gauge are reading the same..... now this "scangauge" thing.... im sorry but i wouldnt trust that 180 dollar toy over what your internal ECU is reading. one of them is wrong and you get three guess on which one it is...

mystery solved... it was fluctuating between coolant temp and transmission temp for some odd reason. I added in the coding for transmission temp readings and it matches up exactly.
I got the thing for free from a friend who wanted a boost gauge, then realized it wouldn't read it properly lol. I'm using it to monitor IAT, mpg, coolant temp, and now transmission temp.
Probably wouldn't spend the money on one if it wasn't free though.
