Default Re: Good to hear! What would you say was the most important thing you learned?

My instructor is an experienced race car driver. He is the passenger in the photo. Look at where he is looking (in the photo) compared to where I am looking. He was constantly telling me to look ahead. So the answer to your question: look ahead and anticipate what is coming up, and don't look at obstacles that are right in front of the car.

Default That's a good thing to learn! I remember seeing a picture of a racer

whose car was going pretty much sideways, with the rear of the car being chewed up by the track wall, and his head was resolutely swiveled to the direction he wanted to go.

Default Nice, glad you enjoyed it

Kinda of an intimidating track since the walls are right there!!
I know that corner

Every time I hit the wall, I just tap "Esc" and then "Return to Pit." That seems to fix it.

Default If only it were that simple in real life........

It's quite funny to see ricer boyz come to a track which they've driven in video games. It only takes one run session to make them realize how different it really is:-)

they practically look out the side windows.
