Default I met a guy at Summit Point Raceway who drives a Lingenfelter Firebird..

... and in his spare time, hosts online PC racing. It was so funny to sit next to a guy wearing full Nomex, and imagining him at home (in the Nomex?) sitting in his den with a little steering wheel and pedals racing around the world's great racetracks!

I have never upgraded from a joystick, so the driving dynamics are weak. Although I must confess that the NASCAR game (big, heavy cars) really does teach you a lot about car dynamics. There are real lessons to be learned about turn-in points, trail braking and the use of the throttle to "steer" the car through a turn. I have no doubt that these things have helped me in the real world.

Agreed, it can help - so long as you don't get too used to that reset button ;-)

Probably because they already "know" wher the car is going to be at all times.

Default Did you change your brake fluid before the event?

If not, do that. It will most likely fix your fading issues.
