Default Seat, wheel and mirror memory has gone spastic...

Unless somebody reset all these things the seat and wheel memory seem to have changed drastically. Now my wheel is telescoping to a new setting and the memory buttons have completely new settings. Real odd.

Default Seat memory computer memory corruption?

The seat, mirror and steering wheel memory uses a computer with memory (maybe battery backed SRAM or eeprom) and maybe that memory got corrupted. The radios on 2000 Audis had a similar problem but I have not heard of this with the seats. A power surge or Xray exposure or just a bad memory chip or computer could cause this. If it does it again ask the dealer to replace it.
