Default Secondary airinjection system..insufficient flow!! ---HELP!---
I've an Audi A6 2,4 Avant (year 2001)
Check engine lamp lights up. Two codes..."Secondary air injection system bank 1 insufficient flow" and ..."Secondary air injection system bank 2 insufficient flow".
Didnt do anything but reset the lamp.
Two days and about 100km later it lights up again...
The same codes this time..
Anyone who have any ideas where to begin...?
And howcome the lamp doesnt light up until after two days or so?
Other than this the car is running normally, w/normal gasconsumption

may need them replaced. i just had to do mine for the same error.

Either the air injection pump is failing or the valve is stuck.

Default could be a simple vacuum line to the combi valve
no vacuum to the combi valves = incorrect flow

replace vacuum lines first, esp to the combi valves
