Self leveling headlights - won't level
I have noticed that my headlights don't seem to want to level all the time. The driver's side stays pointed up, way up. So I finally adjusted it down with the set screw (allen wrench). Then the next time out, of course, it adjusted - this time way too far down. So I dialed it back up, and so the story goes.
Does anyone know about the self leveling system. Is there anything I can do to clear this up in my driveway. Or is this better to just let the stealership - oh uh, I meant dealership - deal with?

One possible solution
Leveling with the VAG just sets the vertical reference point for the controller. Leveling with the screwdriver gets the lights aligned with respect to one another, and horizontally. When they go wacky (one up, one down, intermittent cockeyed-ness) the fault may be here:
