HI guys, I am in a dilemma here. I am sick of my stock **** and that chrome coated plastic ring around the **** is wore out. I'm selling my Rs4 shift **** becasue I found out it doesn't fit on my 03 A6. I tried twisting the **** off like I did on my old 00 A6 but it wasn't budging. I decided not to dance with the devil anymore so I stopped twisting in fear of the **** breaking off. I have noticed that the shift stalk and the **** on the 03+ A6's are comparable to those of the B6/7 S4 styles. I ordered a **** from this site ( http://www.parts4euro.com/DCShop/product_info.php?products_id=533 )and was wondering would it work on my A6. Should I be looking under the B6/7 section for *****? Is there a special way for removing the ****? Your input would really help. Maybe someone could provide me with some ideas or websites. Anything really would be helpful.
