Shimmy at 65 mph - Change 2 tires

I have a shimmy from my rear two tires. Within 2 months, I had a flat on one side and drove 1 block without knowing I had a flat. After getting the flat fixed, it seems out of round.
On the other rear tire, I hit a small (3') divider and started getting a pull on the front wheels. I have since moved the tire to the rear left position.
Any problem in just changing the rear two tires.Do I have to stick with the same brand (have Firehawk with 20 K life left in them). Cannot understand why people recommend changing all 4 at the same time
