Default Short Shifter Install - Am I Being Gouged By The Shops?
After reading about how the installation of a short shifter is an easy DIY project, I was told by my two local Audi Tuning Shops that it will take them about 3 hours to install my short shifter at the tune of about $300! WTF!? Is 3 hours reasonable? What have your experiences been? Thanks.

3 hours is excessive - as is $100 per hour... 2 hours at ~$65 is probably flat rate reasonable.

since it's advertised as a DIY project! Thanks.
