Default Signs of Tranny Problems

What happens when I start having tranny problems. I have one issue I notice, when I put it in (D) Drive it makes a clunk noise and from D into Reverse it does it too. Also when I'm slowing from 25mph to about 19mph it changes into another gear I think is second or third it does that thing where downshifting it makes that tranny braking feeling, like it slows the car a bit when it downshifts.

Here's the bad part I think, Its got 110,000 miles and needs a tranny fluid change.

Pull codes, check fluid, strongly consider changing the fluid.
