You need to find the source of the smoke. You say the caliper is replaced. It *could* be the ABS doing something odd - and it could still turn freely cold. uncommon, yes. Impossible? No.

Or, maybe the smoke is from something else. precision counts. Even you said "smoking tire" which i think we can all agree is 99.99% unlikely to be correct.

well it should be pretty obvious .....

if the cam plug at the back of the head isnt leaking and you have no leaks at your cam cover gasket or tensioner gasket move to the wheel. if the wheel doesnt feel hot it is not your wheel bearing cooked from the draging caliper or your brakes ..

The only other plus could be the rear stub axle dripping on to a cat .. you really need to see or smell the smoke to help identify.
