by increasing oversteer enough to counter the dramatic understeer these cars are born with.
I've got a PSK (sport kit) rear bar, stock non sport springs, and Koni sport shocks, and the addition of hte PSK bar made a huge difference. Its very much more neutral now, but it still pushes if the tires lose grip.

if you also put on a stiffer front bar, it will help the car corner flatter, but will not change the overall attitude, the car will still understeer badly.
Again, sway bars aren't intended to improve handling on their own, they are more for fine tuning handling. So if you want to fix an understeering car, a stiffer rear bar (and stiffer rear springs, if possible) will help that a lot.

Sports on my car at the moment.) The "Race" springs are firmer, so it may help. Then again, I would have diff color springs! :P ("Sport's" are grey-metallic, "Race's" are bright red.) Oh well!
