Default So I attempted to apply some touch up paint to some light scratches....

Didn't come out quite as well as I'd hoped, as it doesn't blend in well. Is there something I'm supposed to use to do that? Rubbing compound maybe?

Default When you say "it doesn't bend in well", are you talking about the color, or..

that it is lumpy and sticks out over the factory paint?

If it is because of the second problem, I would get some polishing compound and a terry wax applicator pad. Apply liberally and see if it will smooth out.

If not, step up to rubbing compund, but use sparingly, as that WILL take off the clear paint in the surrounding area if you use too much.
