After having my instrument cluster replaced, my immobilizer waited 3 days then decided to ignore both my keys.

but I've heard of tons of strange cluster/immobilizer issues. As soon as I changed mine the new one instantly rejected all of my keys. I had to put the new cluster in at the dealership so I could drive it there with the old cluster/keys. But after they coded my keys to the new cluster I've never had an issue since. I don't know how your car even started and then ran w/ the new cluster for 3 days! Maybe there's a buffer built into the newest clusters so you can drive it to a dealership. Other than that I would say something is fishy w/ your immobilizer.

So you didn't just throw the cluster in yourself and drive away. You had one key coded to the cluster and then the second key f-ed it all up. If that's the case then that makes a little more sense. I have one key that's not coded up to my new cluster but it just doesn't start my car. It never erased my other keys. However something still seems odd, my guess would be immobilizer just shut down the whole car because of confusion. If you had both keys coded at the dealership then they didn't code one of the keys correctly. Unless you somehow erased the chips in the keys by entering the programming mode. It's probably something stupid, dang immobilizer!
