Default So I think my car's Servotronic doesn't like the cold. checked all front suspension bits....

nothing overly loose or bent.

As I drove this morning, it was -5f, and the steering was still overly boosted to the right, same as yesterday. Dropped my son off at school, and continued on.. As I got closer to where I drop my daughter off, the steering was starting to feel more normal. turning to the right was a little tighter, more like it is turning to the left...

Dropped little one off at her grandmother's, left the car running.. Now the steering is basically normal.. So...... I wonder how bad it is that the servotronic can get wonky due to cold...

Default Since reading your last post about this, I realized mine does the same thing in the cold.

To the left its really loose. But to the right its a little tighter.

Default Definitely aware of the over-boost issue in the cold. It seems to be pretty common...

but mine only lasts for a 20-30 seconds and does not preference the left or right.

Default Well, my car is 8 years old, and is JUST now starting it.. So I think it's more of an old car thing.

besides, it rarely gets this cold in Germany in the winter.

How about trying to pull the relay to see if it is the servotronic that is causing this?

Default How long since the PS fluid was changed? Might be worth doing.

When it ages wierd things happen to the viscosity.
