That isn't totally off. I'd say between $2000 and $4000 depending on where you go.

How is it going to be fixed. Put a new fender in or repair the damage?

I just had a accident 2 Fridays ago and the insurance company (Geico) estimated the damage down to the last screw. I thought the settlement was low and am now having the body shop and the Audi dealer estimate and do the work. My insurance company told the body shop to do whatever it takes and if they discover additional damage they will pick up the cost.

We'll see... Why is I just don't trust insurance companies?

Default Insurance pays because he was found liable (hit and run).
The adjusters were SCUM bags. Nickle and diming me about everything. Ordering recondtioned parts etc...

VERY sketchy. I might just have my insurance company sue them for money.
