So would it be possible to replace the crank seal w/out fully removing TB?

Default So would it be possible to replace the crank seal w/out fully removing TB?
I noticed that the crank seal is leaking a lil bit, so I would like to replace it. However, I don't have any spare money available for the TB or the bar to hold the cams. So would it be possible to just pull the TB down a lil bit (while under some tension,) and replace the seal? TIA...I know my questions can be pretty stupid/boring! :P

Not necessary to replace a weeping seal, juat add a little snake oil, works every time!
