Default Socrates and the Pie Plates

I've been off Audiworld for a while, as I bought a 1978 Ferrari 308GTS, and moved my obsession to ferrarichat.com. 4 rebuilt weber carbs, new points, a totally new brake system (lines, calipers, pads, rotors, master cyl), new waterpump, rebuilt alternator, new coilovers, steering rack, bushings, and other really expensive crap - I have never been so simultaneously poor and happy.

I am nearing the 100k mile marker in my 2006 pearl white 4.2. I have maintained the hell out of it, and after all these miles, it is still rock solid.

Like my wife (the one who tolerates buying ferrais and lamborghinis), she still turns heads.

Today, I had a front tire blow out, and had to put one pie plates back on. On an unrelated note, I am saving all my pennies to buy a Lamborghini Jalpa (sixth mid-life crisis). I am very close, and am scrounging loose change from the couch. If you think the wide body A6 flares are cool, check this out.

The stock japla wheels look very similar in style to the pie plates.

To the purpose of my post: having put one pie plate back on, I think they look great.

Should I sell/trade the BBS RSGT's to someone with pie plates and use the $ toward the Jalpa? Or more simply put, does anyone agree with me that the pie plates look uber cool?
