Sombody steals A6's from IKEA in NJ
On Monday I had to stop by at IKEA in New Jersey. I parked my car next to new 3.0 A6. The owner of it told me, that somebody tried to steal his car. He called security and they told him, that thieves looking for Audi's! So he tried to warn me.
In this case bad guys broke door lock and ignition key. Morons did not know about Audi security system, so they could not start the engine. Still they screwed the ignition lock, so owner could not start the engine.
I do not think many of you will go to IKEA, but still watch out!

Goes along with the story about my friend's son's S4 disappearing in Fairfield, and police (more)
supposedly saying there is a gang in Newark that requires one to steal an Audi as entry. The IKEA store is nearby, and for those who don't know, the Newark area has been the center, or at least A center, of the car theft industry. Any city that can claim to have invented car-jacking, must have pretty enterprising residents.

Sounds stupid to mention, but I have to. Guys, put an alarm on your cars, please-->
I realize that so many of you will say that alarms are wasteful, and annoying. But I'm convinced, my alarm coupled with my club have kept my car secure. I've been to several of the places that Audi's have walked away from. Lord willing, I've been able to drive away from all of them. It may not mean much to have them, but I think that it makes all the difference.
