Default Good for the A6 Quattro and S6, which means good for Avant too, right?

Different part #'s for A6/S6 and allroad. Ask H-Sport, A6/S6 should fit.

I hope so because my H-sports from my 4.2 are sitting in my garage waiting to be installed.

Default Only difference is the shape of the rear bar.....

Front bars are both the same. allroad rear bar has a different bend in it to clear the air suspension compressor. But either will work on the A6 Avant. Just can't use the A6 bar on an allroad. Makes an even bigger difference on an Avant because of all the glass back there. Go directly to the hard setting on the rear bar for an Avant. And smile at every turn.

Default The other issue is that in 1999 sometime the front links were re-designed.

The H-sport sways are designed for the new links (with a through bolt, not a captive stud in the link.)

Have a look at the top of your front links and see if theres a hex head on both sides of the sway bar / link rod connection, if not you'll have to change the 2 links. Not too expensive though.

Default Or do this....

I did this several months back and it's been a great improvement. If a '99 needs different drop links, this is a great alternative to the factory style, and probably les $$ too

Drop link tech article

Either way, yours are probably getting old so why not change them while you're doing the sways?
