Default (Somebody) Driving round with a bumper held on by cable-tie / tie-wraps

I see this guy driving around quite often. Must live near me I guess. Recently snapped his car at our local supermarket. Check out the hood and bumper damage held on by cable ties. I can imagine that thing would fly off at Autobahn speeds.

Default lol! I held the license plate on my car with them...

Used some high strength stuff, didn't get brittle even in the coldest of winter.

In addition to the bumper damage, looks like hail damage on the hood?

The tie wraps look like stitches.

Default We had the mother of all hailstorms a few years back (golf ball sized)

My Mercedes cost about $4k to be repaired (insurance paid). The Wife's golf got it bad too, she took the money (cash) and just left it unrepaired. You can hardly see the dents now anyway.

Probably wouldn't, but you only have to get a TÃœV inspection every 2 years
