someone tried to steal my headlights :(
my dad parked the a6 downtown, and someone tried to rip out the headlights. we dont even have the fargin hids... stupid thieves.
anyways they managed to rip off the grills next to the fogs and pulled the front bumper partway off. anyone familiar with popping a body panel back on? *sigh*

There is a good article in Car and Driver on this subject. It is Patrick Bedards column. He talks about how Nissan Maximas are the biggest target because they all came with HID's. The repair for the damage is over 4k per job. It also goes on to state that NJ is sueing Nissan because they say they knowingly installed them knowing how easy they would be to steal.
