Default Spoiler Depot RS6 replica spoiler (installation)

I got my new RS6 spoiler in the mail from spoiler depot, got it off ebay for 285 shipped and painted, NOT TOO BAD!! anyhow, it took about 2 weeks to get it, but i have to say, i am VERY IMPRESSED with the quality of the spoiler and the quality of their painting process, it looks beautiful!!

question is this though, it came with double sided 3M tape, and what they call (optional) bolts for screwing it into the trunk lid. anyone who has this spoiler, do you have it drilled in through your trunk??? it did not come with a template for aligning the screw holes so im a bit weary of trying to "wing it" with the drilling in my trunk lid. will the tape hold it solidly???

Default Installation advice...

I have my spoiler held only with the double-sided tape and it seems to be holding just fine. in order to line it up, align the spoiler with the tops of the lights and then just hope you get it right the first time and don't have to pull it off to do it again. hope that helps, let me know if you have any more questions. see my pic as well.

An extra pair of hands will make it a lot easier also.

Tape only works just fine. Don't worry about auto car washes - no way it's coming off.
