bows down to both B-D's
I also re-seated the latch "cover" with no improvement. Next thing, I will adjust the pin.. I have a feeling that the pin goes in too deep into the latch.. We'll see!

Let us know how it works out, i have the same problem
That pin is a PIA I moved it when I put my DVD player in not knowing the adjustment process. I just wanted the seat to latch at theat point, never thought about adjusting for squeek

Sooooo..
I couldn't find a socket deep enough to clear the pin to get to the nut so I tried a different approach... I wrapped the hairy side of velcro around the pin and viola no more squeak.. I think what I'm going to do is try wrapping it with some electrical tape because the velcro is a bit too thick for the latch.
Thanks for all of the help everyone!!

Re: thanks
That squeaking noise from the back seat was killing me, but I finally found the cure to my squeak.
It was in the hinge at the bottom of the seat where it bottom and the back of the seat meet in between the side panel. I lowered the seat and then took the thin WD40 straw and sprayed that hinge until the squeek went a way.
Also my squeak only happened during cold weather...
It's so great not to have to drive with the radio on to block out the squeaking.

maybe this'll help

it takes a bit more effort to get to the hinge pins on the back seats, you gotta remove the bottom cushion (or fight with it when you try to remove the back), fold down the backs, pop off a plastic cover, remove a torx bolt, then the seat backs simply lift out. takes me less than 15 minutes to completely remove and re-install the entire back seat, less the bolsters.
