Hi, all.
I posted a thread about having noisy steering wheel some time ago... and I still have the same problem. I've changed the fluid, but it's still squeaking... So I put the steering wheel in different positions and when it was at the lowest position (all the way in, too), the spueaking went away! What the hell is this?? Help, please~!

Mine sounds like the back of the steering wheel is rubbing on the plastic cover to the steering column. Very annoying!

Also, the power steering on my car squeaks/buzzes/"grinds" to but only when cold. I haven't really looked into what could be wrong with it though.
Is that what is happening with yours?

I don't know, but mine's squeaking is becoming more frequent than ever before... It's really annoying me now.

Have you tried removing the knee bolster and greasing the steering column shaft by the firewall?

That would be to get rid of squeaking on the inside of the car in the steering wheel area, right?

The buzzing/squeaking/grinding is definatly from the power steering, and its LOUD!
