Default Seriously folks. Is there any reason to do this unless you intend to live at the track?

The 4.2 (and earlier 2.7Ts) came with a very solid brake package. If you upgrade to aftermarket rotors (OEMs warp like pancakes) and pads, you will be have a great, durable set up for the street.

It's not my money, but I could find better uses for $800+.

Default good point...where can i get aftermarket rotors?

i called ECS and OEM that they slot and or slot/cross drill.
where can i get aftermarket rotors that don't warp as easy??

whats good about these stasis OEM upgrade is that they weigh 16lbs vs 22lbs for OEM...

Default this is what it includes:

carbonlord, i think you already know this, but here it is again:

Front Upgrade:
* Available: S4, A6, S6, Allroad
‡ 2 Alcon Floating Rotors, directionally vented, heat treated, segmented gas slotted
‡ 2 STaSIS Rotor mounting hats, directionally vented
‡ High performance brake pads
‡ Braided stainless steel brake lines (front only)
‡ High performance brake fluid

one more thing, the rotors weigh only 16lbs as opposed to 22lbs for stock.

Default Particularly rotors that do not RUST! (at leat on the hats)

Rotational weight savings is very important. The Stassis are light and are corrosion resistant.

Default DBAs will be good for the street and they are painted grey

disks are the weakness on the track.<ul><li><a href="http://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/shared/part_detail.cfm?PMaI=1&amp;PMoI=28&amp;PEI=6&amp;P P=a6_27t_brakes.cfm&amp;PPT=Brakes&amp;IL=a6dba">h ttp://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/shared/part_detail.cfm?PMaI=1&amp;PMoI=28&amp;PEI=6&amp;P P=a6_2

Default ok....only the fronts....and i am mistaken...

$895 is only for the seats/rotors...
the larger package i listed is at $1395...way too expensive for my blood.

for that much money, you mind as well go with a porsche brake kit...
