We just installed an Ohlins Motorsport coilover kit on the car pictured below. The ride is awesome, complimented by the 255/35/18 Toyos.

Sorry for the dark picture. He light was not perfect for capturing the gorgeous Moro blue car.

Default Re: STaSIS Questions ?? Please give us a call !

What are the spring rates, and how does it drive?
I have 600/800 on my 2.7 but am changing to 700/900. (265/35-18 on mine. Next set will be 255)

Here's mine:

Default We put 650/750 weight springs on the A6 and with the 35mm sidewall

it feels very sharp but not uncomfortable. The car is extremely flat and quick through turns. I would be hesitant to use more spring here in Denver where the pavement quality is quite unpredictable.

Do you have remotes on your front suspension ? What kind of settings are you running on each damper ? Lastly, is it an Ohlins kit or a Koni kit ?

Default So are the rear springs 8" or 6"? are there clearance issues at your height with the rear axle?

Mine is very close. One benefit to going to the 900lb in the rear is the 6" spring length as opposed to the 8" of the 800lb

I have a couple hundred lbs of stereo equipment in the rear. Seems to balance the car well...

I have H-sport sway bars on the front and back. I also changed out the front upper control arms for CPP adjustable units. (That's actually the only way to fit the 265's under the fenders - I'm running 2.5 degrees of negative camber)

Yes I have remote reservoirs, and they are ohlins. I believe I got one of the first production sets for the A6. There are some other pictures in my picture poster.

The Stasis recommended settings are pretty good, however Paul (Lambert) spent some time on the phone with me on the first track event I went to after I put them on. He suggested that I set the compression (reservoirs) as soft as the conditions needed. PIR is very smooth, so I can keep them pretty stiff. (-1 to -3 or so from full stiff. The rebound he suggested that whatever I set the front to, that I set the rear to twice that. Seemed to work really well. For the street I use -6 or so on the front, and -12 or so in the rear. For the track I use -1 or -2 in front and -3 or -4 in the rear. (adjustable H-sport bar is set to stiff on the rear.
