code was thrown the other day that involved 'high transmission temp'. Fluids haven't been checked i don't think lately... although output-shaft-seal was replaced about 1k miles ago. Car was at Avalon and gone thru... and there weren't any other indications of anything being wrong. Then today, suddenly... it felt like i was driving over severely rippled pavement... then got worse, and i stopped... thinking that perhaps i'd forgot to tighten lug-nuts when i replaced my winters w/my Summers the other day. Continued on, and nothing for a minute or two, then it was back. It's not bad when ON the gas, but as soon as you level off, and cruise at a steady speed... the whole car vibrates. Was thinking that perhaps it could be the TC on its way out, but no CEL to indicate anything, no tranny slippage, and no other issues. Reverse is very functional, and tranny engages around 1kRPM where it's supposed to.
Of note: Car didn't do the vibration-thing just now, driving off in the parking lot, and up the street... after it'd cooled for about an hour or so... but came back after it warmed up perhaps... Anyone want to hazard a guess that perhaps it's just low-fluids and i should re-fil?

awesome... thanks!
Exhaust is COMPLETELY in the way, and looks like the damn output-shaft seal is leaking AGAIN (replaced 3x in last 6mo.). This car is starting to fray my nerves...

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Suggest you revisit either the quality of the seals you are using or the condition of the CV joint on the front of the center driveshaft.

...by default, i'd say i'm remarkably insane to own this thing in the first place, given the amount of trust i have to place in it to haul $50k+ of photo-gear about the desert-southwest... w/o breaking down and stranding me. I'll have the shop check out the CV joint at front of center Driveshaft if i can get it back to Denver. Thanks a million for the advice...
(seals have been OEM so far, w/no different results... apparently)
