You can't get any bigger than 5 1/4" speakers in the doors properly...
I have A/D/S 345is speakers, they are 5.25" with a 1" tweeter in the doors, a 12" Kicker Solo-Baric sub, phoenix gold amplifiers and a Clarion DXZ835MP head unit. The head unit can change colors so I have it matched to the interior lights. If I ever get around to it I'll take some pictures of the setup.
You have to build or purchase rings that adapt them to the 6" cutouts. It isn't too hard to replace, but I did the entire system, so I don't know how they would sound without a powerful amplifier running them.

Replaced non-bose speakers with Diamond Pros and the
sub with Boston Accoustic Pro. Diamonds replaced stock sizes so re-fit was no problem. Replaced sub encloser with a new one and mounted it in the right (passenger) side "cubby" in the trunk. Put the cross-overs behind the trunk panel where the sub used to live. I hung the Xtant amps from the bottom of the rear package shelf...they (so far) have not interferred with getting anything into/out of the trunk.
