Okay got new Bosch Platinums and got rid of the misfire now I'm getting P1227, P1239 and P1429. First two are fuel metering and last one something to do with auxilary emissions. I'm beginning to think I've completely screwed this motor up. Guess I'll drive it a couple of days and work from there. Thanks

You have vacuum leaks somewhere. Start by fixing those.

Well it seems to be over. I cleared the codes and have driven it for two days with the new plugs and the hesitation has disappeared and no more CEL. Just happy to report that the plugs were the problem. I am replacing all the front control arms next week to get rid of a loud squeaking front end. Thanks very much for all your help.

Rearing its ugly head. I have once again reset the timing belt due to numerous air flow metering and cyl 3 misfire codes. I think I may be having a problem with the Timing belt tensioner. After I set the timing belt the car runs great for a day and then goes to crap! The last time I did the belt check I noticed that the tensioner was slow to respond and seemed to almost stick in certain spots. Could this be my problem? I'm assuming if the belt doesn't stay tight it could throw off the timing enough to toss cel codes at me. Thanks for everyones help so far!!!
