Default Sunroof issues - informational

Today my sunroof got stuck in the vent position. I could not get it to move out of that position. After doing some searching through the forums I found that in the fuse panel there is a hex wrench designed to be used as a manual sunroof crank. After consulting the owners manual on how to close the sunroof, I was able to manually close it. At this point, the sunroof began to function normally. I thought this was pretty odd, but I wanted to pass it on in case anyone else runs into this in the future.

Has anyone run in to this in the past?

Default Don't know if this is related, but...

on the C4 chassis, the sunroofs sometimes ramdomly open and must be manually closed. They get "out of sync" with the switch, like yours did. In their case, it is generally related to a weak or dying battery.

Default or moving the dial well the car is off...happened to mine, you turn it all the way back...

let it open all the way, and should fix the problem that cause it...

But hey, while we're on the subject.... That little issue I had with the breather hose, I fixed it with heater hose. Now if I can just get that damn MIL to go away.
