Tahoed at LAX !!!! :-(( ( way too long, sorry)
I'm dropping off my wife and kids last Sat. night at LAX (they're off on a Caribbean cruise for spring break). Hate to see them go, but I'm planning to drive up the next morning to Pebble Beach via Coast highway for 2 days. Really looking forward to DRIVING the A6. Waiting in line to get out of LAX parking garage. Very crowded, snaking slowly around and around, and finally at a dead stop. This IDIOT in a Tahoe in front of me sees a parking space and jams it into reverse to position himself to pull in. Only one problem. Me and about 20 other cars behind me! Despite my honking (I'm 10 feet behind him), he backs right into me; his gigantic bumper scraping over me, up the grill and about a foot onto my hood! Then he pulls in the space. Didn't even know he hit me until I'm in his face! $2,500 damage and I'm driving my wife's S80 t-6 this week. Even she recently admitted she loved driving the Audi better than her beloved Volvo. Pebble Beach trip postponed; what's the use if I can't drive my car? Thanks for listening! I feel better.

Another SUV disaster! Sure sorry about your car.
You were probably below his tail gate. Watched a Ford monster jam into a parking space missing a 325i by a margin I couldn't see from 40 feet. She hit it hard with her door getting out and never got off the cell phone. She walked into the building still on the phone. I had to stay in the car - too pissed.

Confession time
I used to drive Montero, and once when leaving a parallel parking space on the street, backed straight into a Toyota that was totally beneath my field of vision...luckily no damage though. After that I bought a stick-on fresnel lens for the back window.

Sheeesh, that hurts
Reminds me of a scene I saw a few months ago. Was at a stop light off an on-ramp. When I pulled up there was an 18-wheeler dump truck in the right lane a few car-lengths from the line, so I took the left lane. Somebody was unlucky enough to pull up behind him. I watched in my side view as the dump truck started to back up and crush the entire front end of the car behind him... didn't notice until his rear wheels were almost to the windshield of the car. The driver of the car threw his hands up, got out, and then I went on my way. At least it wasn't an Audi.
