Default Technical Steering Wheel Question :: S6 versus RS6

Obviously the RS6 wheel has paddles on back instead of front-mounted buttons. Beyond that, they appear to share the same airbag (02-03 S6 vs 03 RS6). Can anyone confirm that the wheel is a direct replacement and the connectors for the paddles are also identical?

Default Late '03 S6's had paddles like the RS6 so you would think it is an easy swap. I don't use the

rockers either, the paddles would be a nice upgrade.

2003 MY S6 offered the paddle wheel as a factory option. Easily added after the fact too.
