Default Grape, I bought the car in November, and...

all of the mods, including the chip, were already done. I am happy with the power this car has. My previous car was a lightly modded 2003 M5 so I was worried that I could find something to replace it. The chipped A6 has just enough ooomph and with the 6 speed is a fun car to drive. It pulls real well down low but falls off in the torque rather quickly. Wud be nice to have a flatter tq curve, but I am happy with it. The differnece in prices between the two cars makes the A6 a bargain even with the loss of power and handling.
One thing I haven't done is switch back between stock and chipped. I may do that one day to get a feel for the stock power curve.

regards,

al

Default thanks Al! Interesting to note your comparison to the M5 - I've

wondered about how the two would compare, now I know. Glad to hear you like it.
