Default temperature gauge reading faulty

Finished installing a6 c5 1998 year instrument cluster into audi 100 c4 1992.

managed to get everything working perfect but temperature gauge seems to be reading very wrong. if engine temp is 90 (vag com showing via ECU not cluster) then gauge shows between 105-120 celcius.

temperature sender is working, because when i drove my car to garage, temp was 87-90 like it always have been.

is there any possibility to adjust temperature gauge on that instrument cluster ?

Silver

Perform an output test on the instrument cluster. Every needle will perform a sweep from min to max, then hold in the center. If any of your needles aren't centered, either the needles need to be reset if possible, or the servo motors in the gauges need to be replaced.

Problem solved, had to add 80 ohm resistor to temp wire before gauge, and everything is working perfect.

Thanks Guys (Y)
