I am looking forward to getting the matching carbon fiber shift trim. Thanks for finding it!
Also, kudos to A6 forum member "Hilden" since it was <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/591825.phtml">this post</a> by Hilden that showed me that he had the same carbon fiber trim as I did, and since he is in Europe, he could confirm the part number/color code for me.
I have been looking for the part on the left below:

The one on the left is stock and fits over the 2002+ shift bezel (PRNDS), and the one on the right was customized to fit over the 2001 shift bezel (PRND432). Now that I have the 2002 4.2, I needed the stock part, and I cannot make the hole smaller...
The big problem was the color match. I have the "blue weave" carbon fiber, which is actually from a euro model S6 instead of the RS6. Unfortunately, nobody in the US can look up the right part number for me, since this was a euro piece only.
Here is a close up of the blue weave...

You really cannot see the blue unless you are looking for it, otherwise it looks black/white. I suppose I could have gone with the stock RS6 part, and really only I would have noticed, but hey, I should do it right and get the matching part, yes???
I even considered buying a whole new set of carbon fiber then selling this set, but a new set (there is a "group buy" on RS6.com) would cost about $1300! Yikes! Used, well, I ahve been looking, with no luck, and I'm usually pretty good at finding the rare stuff.
Instead, I am out of pocket less than i had expected and can use 11 of the 12 pieces I already have!!!
