since you arrived on this forum. Mostly because I recently bought a BMW but have only mentioned it once or twice here for fear of some possible reactions. I should have realized that the folks on this forum are more polite, more helpful and more mature than on any BMW forum I have found. Especially bimmer.org.
I chose my 4.2 over the 540 for personal reasons back early in the 00' model year production run. But I chose the 330i over the A4, S4 and others considered for personal reasons as well. It is all subjective when you reduce it down is it not?
Glad to have you back. It is not realistic to expect everybody to procure only a single marque at any given period in one's life now is it? (except maybe for you ;-) )
PS - Still no luck in replacing my totaled 4.2 yet. I have decided on an A8L, but I am trying to find a "pre-owned" one. Dont even tell me to get a 740 ;-) I will probably have to buy new again even though I promised myself I would never do that if the car costs more than $50,000. (Yes, I fudged that self-imposed rule just a teeny amount on the 4.2, but it was only a couple of hundred bucks)

of what is acceptable - I don't think you exceed them - yet;-) Please continue to rattle our cages. People here should have sense of perspective.

Hands across the ocean, Benny wasn't funny. Many of us Yanks are pretty sure we appreciate humor of any genre. I think Izzard is funny. Extremely witty fellow, all you say. Love all the re-runs of Fawlty Towers that are still running on the US tele. Cleese could get me laughing doing almost anything.
American comedians can be really funny. I love Ryan Stiles (and really all the cast) of the American version of "Whoose Line is it?". I get a big kick from John Leguizimo (God forbid I spelled his name correctly). Same crazy humor with much subtlty if you watch for it as Eddie Izzard.
Guys you don't think of too often are Jonathan Winters (maybe a little old for most of the readers here), Penn & Teller, Dennis Miller and Chris Rock.
Sorry to wander so far afield. I have been a comedian all my life. Not professionally BTW. Love my comedy and my Audi too. Later.
