Default is there a center cap out there that covers the center hole and not the lugs of

the Factory RS6 wheel...

I love the exposed lug look, but Carrie hates the center being open.....

I tried the center caps from my A4 a few weeks ago, but they're a hair too small.

You need to order the OEM ones from Achtuning (or the dealer) for a A4 model. They need to be modified slightly to fit the hole. Basically it involves cutting off the four tabs and removing the metal tension "ring". You then glue a new backing plate with tabs onto the center cap. This new plate snaps into the aftermarket center hole perfectly.

Default The wheel in that photo is the 'DTM' version, not the regular version with the cap, FYI

I understand you may have posted it just to show the smaller cap, but just wanted to point out that the wheel is (I believe) the DTM version, just so no one goes and order caps and is then disappointed to see a slightly different result...

I like the one in the photo though...

Yes, those are DTM version wheels. Hence, the DTM badge.
