Is there a tranny lag on the A6 2.7T, 3.0 or 4.2?

If you floor the gas pedal (which you shouldn't do if your car is brand new), you'll notice that there is an additional little "button" at the floor.

Pushing the pedal to the floor without engaging the "button" will put you into the lowest practical gear, not the lowest possible gear. Push the "button" and it will put you in the lowest possible gear. As an example, say you're travling at 55mph (90km/h), pushing to the floor will drop you into 3rd gear at 4K rpm, whereas pushing the "button" will drop you into 2nd gear at 5500rpm. BTW, I just made up these rpm numbers for example purposes only, but you get the idea.
