Is there a way to permanently disable the alarm motion sensor?
I live in Arizona where the summers are HOT. When I park in the sun (most of the time) I like to leave the windows and sun roof slightly open. This is a sure way to set off the alarm. I know that I can manually disable the motion sensor each time I lock the car but sometimes I forget. Is there anyway to permanently disable the alarm motion sensor?

I don't know about an "off", but ....
the sensitivity can be turned way down. Either the dealer or someone with a VAG-COM tool can go to the Internal Monitor and do an adaptation on channel 1. The value can be between 100 (max, default) and 50 (min). From what people have reported, I think every car reacts with a different sensitivity. I turned mine down to 75 and still got triggers with the windows cracked open on a windy day. 50 seemed to eliminate them. After a week or so, I turned it back up to 60 and I have not had any false alarms yet.
